Grant Opportunities
The Lee County Arts Council (LCAC) serves as a Designated County Partner to the North Carolina Arts Council (NCAC) and offers the Grassroots Arts Program for arts projects in Lee County, the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) for organizations looking to improve infrastructure, efficiency and community relationships and Artist Support Grants for individual artists.

Grassroots Arts Program (GAP)

Grassroots Arts Programs subgrants are awarded to organizations based in Lee County to carry out programs within the county. Examples of arts programs include performances, art exhibitions, festivals, arts camps, fees for classes or workshops to qualified artists, website development, marketing and theater performance expenses.

American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA)
Deadline: Now Closed
ARPA Program subgrants are awarded to organizations based in Lee County to carry out quality arts programs within the county. Funds may be used to build sustainability of the arts ecosystem (beyond projects, operations, and staff); to develop new relationships with arts organizations that have not been previously engaged; and to invest in capacity building for arts organizations (leadership training, strategic planning).

Artist Support Grant
Deadline: September 1, 2023 (Now Closed)
These grants support professional artists in any discipline and at any stage in their careers to pursue projects that further their artistic and professional development. Fundable projects include the creation of new work, purchase of equipment and materials, professional development workshops, and developing promotional materials.
