Volunteering

Volunteers help make it possible for The Lee County Arts Council (LCAC) to provide programs and services to residents of our community.

If you are looking to volunteer your time to promote the arts, there are many ways you can serve. Here are some of our current needs:

• Event Assistants: 

Help with a variety of tasks at events including setting up at venues, assisting artists, managing attendee registration, providing guest information, etc.
 

• Fundraisers:

Assist with organizing fundraising campaigns, membership drives, donor outreach or grant writing. 
 

• Advisory Panel Members:

Evaluate grant requests for projects, events or support and make funding  recommendations to the LCAC Board. 
 

• Graphic Designers:

Create visual materials such as posters, flyers, and brochures to promote events and programs.
 

• Office Assistants:

Greet and assist persons entering the LCAC offices. Help with general office tasks such as organizing art displays, light filing, mailings, data entry and housekeeping. 
 

• Photographers:

Capture high-quality photographs of events, exhibitions, workshops and performances hosted or sponsored by the LCAC creating a visual record for promotional use. 
 

• Social Media Gurus:

Manage and create content for the LCAC's social media platforms to engage the community and promote events.
 

• Writers and Content Creators:

Develop written content for blogs, social media, newsletters, and other publications.

Volunteering is a great way to give back to our community and, whether you’re looking for regular or occasional volunteering, we welcome your support.

Making a Gift

The Lee County Arts Council (LCAC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, funded primarily through grants and the generous donations of our supporters.

Since 1978, The LCAC has worked to increase public awareness, knowledge, and appreciation of the arts in our county by presenting or providing funding for exhibitions, performances, festivals, workshops, and a variety of art experiences. Help us continue to make a positive impact on Lee County's future by supporting our efforts to promote artistic and cultural programs for our citizens.
