Beverly Brookshire
Visual Arts
Fauvist & Colorist Painter. My best works are of local scenes especially downtown Sanford. Previous significant works include: "A Trip to Temple Theater" (pictured), "Yarborough’s", "Bella Street Scene", (a former restaurant in Sanford), the opening celebration painting of Sanford’s Depot Park; the downtown Sanford’s Coloring book (published monthly in the local Sanford Herald newspaper), oil pastel of The Railroad House & a series of oil pastel still life’s. Giclee prints available of “Carnival on 1st Ave” and Brazilian Carnival series for a NYC Brazilian restaurant and other neighborhood paintings when I lived locally. A series of Brooklyn prints of my other living/painting location.

Living Rhythmns
Musical Arts
Living Rhythms has provided hands-on residencies, workshops and performances in West African drumming and dancing to over 275,000 students at schools throughout the US for the last 18 years. With differentiated instruction for grades preK-12, our team of artist-educators has a strong history of demonstrated ability to successfully communicate in a school environment with children. The artist-educators on our diverse team have extensive experience and training as educators, and some were teachers in public schools before joining our company. Additionally, each has an impressive personal history of strong artistic accomplishments, studying and performing across Africa, the US, and beyond.

Sheryl Davis
Theater Arts
Sheryl is in her 21st year of being an educator/teaching artist and is currently teaching theatre at and directing Southern Lee High School's theatre program. She has worked with Studio 1, Temple Theatre Company, Cape Fear Regional Theatre, SLAM, and Encore PAC as an actor, director, and designer. She has worked extensively with Sherri Raeford and Shared Radiance PAC in unique Shakespearean shows and writing an original performance piece celebrating the 100th anniversary of Women's Suffrage.
