Hey everyone! We’re excited to share that the Lee County Arts Council has one more opportunity for organizations to submit applications for the North Carolina Arts Council’s Grassroots Arts Program subgrants. If you’re part of a local nonprofit that brings arts and culture to our community, this is for you—just be sure to get your application in by Saturday, January 31, 2026.
What’s the Grassroots Arts Program?
It’s been around since 1977, helping counties all over North Carolina support local arts. Lee County Arts Council partners with the state to offer these funds right here at home. We especially welcome applications from theaters, galleries, choral groups, festivals, arts-in-education programs, or any community organization putting on arts activities in Lee County.
Key Dates & Details:
• Project window: July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026 (your event or program must fall within this timeframe)
• Application deadline: January 31, 2026
